Close but no cigar

I actually found this to be my go to game (on bathroom breaks) and its surprisingly fun when you start going, however in the midst of many Viking raid my game seemingly craps out and I start getting like 4fps on my phone? THIS GAME IS 8 BIT!? WTF is with that!? Its unbearable.
